Mom's Birthday
We are a "birthday family". Or maybe we simply like to party at the drop of a hat..........
Mom celebrated her 76th birthday Saturday. We took her out to eat at Feldman's Wrong Way Diner. Its a great place to eat!
Uncle Kyle & Kristen were traveling, Nicholas was at work, and Uncle Kevin was entertaining hunters. However the rest of the clan was there.
Tricia & Bev are super great daughter-in-laws.
Good story telling, looking at stock show pictures and just general fun.
Craig, Jack, Grandmother (Joann), Mackenzie, Zachary & Grandaddy (Pete).

Help For The Valentines Day Challenged
Okay guys, here is your reminder.
Valentines Day is Thursday, February 14th. Are you ready?
I read an interesting article on the plane home recently. I Though you might find it useful too.
There Must Be 50 Ways to Woo Your Lover
** The true story of a romantically challenged husband and his attempt to prove his love, 50 times over, to his Valentine of a quarter-century. Take it as a useful guide, or a cautionary tale.
By Jay Heinrichs / Photographs by Darren Braun
My wife and I married 25 years ago, and so far it’s gone just fine. Dorothy is beautiful, smart, and funny, earns a steady income, has great genes (our kids take after her), and always knows where my car keys are. She hardly ever complains about me, though she has plenty of material, starting with my unromantic and cheap constitution. I’m renowned—OK, infamous—for buying roses right after Valentine’s Day. I’ve made every card I’ve given Dorothy, not because I make such a great card but because I can’t bear the thought of paying for one. (Have you priced those things lately?)
But that, among other things, is what makes us compatible. The first time I ever asked Dorothy out, another woman had just stood me up. I didn’t have time to unload the theater tickets I’d bought. Dorothy and I were working for the same organization in Washington, D.C., at the time. I went down to her office, one floor below mine, and asked if she was free for the evening. It was 4 in the afternoon.

Love Is:
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love never fails.
~~ 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. ~~ 1 John 4:16
We love because he first loved us. ~~ 1 John 4:19
Love Quotes
"Love is an electric blanket with somebody else in control of the switch." ~ Cathy Carlyle
"To laugh often and love much... to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to give one's self... this is to have succeeded." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Without love, what are we worth? Eighty-nine cents! Eighty-nine cents worth of chemicals walking around lonely." ~M*A*S*H, Hawkeye
