The Wellington Texas teams took top honors at the Texas Cattle Feeders Association (
TCFA) Jr Beef Team Challenge. The contest requires the contestants to take a comprehensive written test on the cattle business. Each team must also give a 7 minute presentation on a given topic. This year the topic was "What effect will ethanol have on the cattle industry".
Kristen Odom & Bailey Long take first place honors in both categories and win 1st overall in the contest.
Zachary Odom & Jared
Warrick win second in both categories and 2
nd overall.
Jack Odom & Trey Long won third in both categories and 3rd overall.
